What People Say

I signed up for class hoping to gain knowledge in order to be better prepared as a mom of a toddler and an infant. I'm definitely feeling better equipped to handle any choking or first aid situations that might arise!

Katie Wasel

I’ve taken CPR classes before and this class was, by far, the most informative class. Rick is a very good instructor and I would highly recommend taking this class.

Shannon Hutchinson

Very informative and professional! We used Rick’s class for our summer camp certification and he lead an awesome and hands-on class!

Levi Potter

Excellent class for both youth and adults. Great hands on demos, instructor is patient with questions & even adds a touch of humor. Highly recommend!

  • Is Big Sky CPR an approved training center?
Big Sky CPR Training is an HSI (Health & Safety Institute) approved training center. HSI training programs are equivalent to the training programs developed and administered by the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross. HSI, the American Heart Association (AHA), and the American National Red Cross (ARC) are the largest providers of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid training in the United States. Neither HSI, the AHA, nor the ARC are recognized accreditation organizations. HSI, like the AHA and ARC, is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). CAPCE is the national accrediting body for Emergency Medical Services continuing education courses and course providers. HSI, like the AHA and ARC, is nationally approved by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE) as a continuing dental education (CDE) provider. HSI’s emergency care training programs and brands are currently accepted, approved, or recognized as an industry credential meeting the requirements of thousands of US state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions, and councils in hundreds of occupations and professions.
  • Does Big Sky CPR offer BLS classes?
We do not offer BLS (Basic Life Support) classes at this time.
  • How long will my CPR certification from Big Sky CPR last?
All of our HSI class certifications are valid for two years from the date of course completion. As CPR guidelines and techniques can evolve, we recommend scheduling a recertification course before your certification expires to stay current with the latest standards and maintain your life-saving skills.
