About the event
This pediatric emphasis class by HSI covers CPR, AED, and First Aid for children, infants, and adults and meets Montana requirements for licensure for daycares, preschools, and childcare providers. The class is great for anyone with little to no medical training that needs a pediatric certification card for job or regulatory requirements. It is also perfect for parents or other individuals seeking to increase their level of preparedness. Some of the topics covered include: chest compressions, rescue breaths, AED use, choking, bleeding control, eye injuries, burns, opioid overdose, and heat emergencies. Certification (upon passing) is good for 2 years.
This class conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care and the 2020 AHA and American Red Cross Focused Update for First Aid.
